Record from my flat - Common Terns

I was up early this morning (to go and retrieve my trail cam which I had set up at a likely Badger location) and I was therefore fortunate to see 3 Common Terns flying high over my flat in a  westerly direction at 5 a.m.

This is the first time that I have recorded this species taking the total number of bird species recorded from my flat or in the immediate vicinity to 42.

I have recorded Common Tern on a single occasion at my nearby St. Nicholas Church local patch site .... a "heard only" record in 2024. If I had been on-site this morning at 5 a.m., I would doubtless have seen these 3 birds since they were heading in that direction.
