I had a visitor last night which was still in the same spot this morning.
This is the second occasion that a Box-tree Moth (see here) has been attracted to my kitchen ceiling .... see here.
Unfortunately, the Box-tree Moth is an accidental introduction to the UK and it is now regarded as an invasive species from Asia. It is generally considered to be a pest species (see here).
