After recording my first Swift of the year in my local area on 17th June 2026, I heard and saw 2 more "screaming" Swifts at 7 a.m. this morning as they flew past my flat window.
With the Swifts also seen on my survey walk on 18th June 2026, this is really encouraging given the close proximity of St. Nicholas Church where I believe Swifts used to breed and where a nestbox project was recently approved.
