Record from my flat - Swift

I have finally recorded my first Swift of the year in my local area after already seeing them at other locations in Essex and further afield in East Anglia.

At 9:30 a.m., I heard a brief "scream" and then had an equally brief sighting of a single Swift as it flew past my window.

This has prompted a visit to my nearby St. Nicholas Church local patch site, where I am currently working on a Swift nestbox project, plus a wider Swift survey walk in the area.
