But .... not long now before these appalling clowns with all their incompetence, chaos, sleaze, corruption and criminality are driven out of power …. and with a bit of luck out of power for a generation.
It is going to be a long but thoroughly enjoyable night seeing all those Cabinet Ministers (including hopefully Sunakered and Truss) and many other blue rosette-wearing muppets being shown the exit door after 14 years.
Goodbye and good riddance!
Never has such a punishment kicking been so richly deserved and so brutally delivered!
Assuming there is a Labour Government (maybe place a bet!!!), the very least they should do is to immediately restore some ethics and morality to politics and government and regain some trust and respect from the voting public whoever they vote for.
The Nolan Principles were published for a reason. The outgoing shitshow of Conservative Governments seems to have completely forgotten them or chosen to ignore them.

However, I am not impressed with the lack of vision and ambition from the Labour Party in their vague or absent proposals and plans to tackle the climate emergency and the biodiversity crisis, including restoration and rewilding of the natural world.
There are multiple issues concerning the environment, nature and wildlife that need to be addressed and the Labour Party has never really had a strong record on this. Maybe this will improve?
Hopefully, the new Labour Government can make a rapid start by at least finally ending the utterly appalling and ill-advised Badger cull, finally enabling the reintroduction of eco-engineering Beavers back in to the wild and terminating the hugely expensive and environmentally damaging Sizewell C project on the Suffolk coast immediately adjacent to RSPB Minsmere.
