I recently bought a thermal monocular and initially experimented with this on 30th March 2025 and had a first successful visit to the site on 16th April 2025.
Tonight, I had my
second visit of the day to the site to hopefully “see” Red Foxes and Reeves' Muntjacs plus the possibility of Badgers.

I had my first sighting of a Red Fox in the northern section of the site before it was fully dark but later I located another Red Fox in the south west of the site when it was completely dark. I saw a third Red Fox in the street lights as it crossed Church Hill near the school.
