I had yet another Common Buzzard sighting from my flat this afternoon at 12:35 p.m., albeit a distant view of a bird flying very high heading northwards.
I had my first Common Buzzard record from my flat for the year (a single bird) on 7th March 2022. This was followed by further sightings on 10th March 2022 (2 birds), 14th March 2022 (2 birds), 15th March 2022 (3 birds), 18th March 2022 (2 birds) and 27th March 2022 (a single bird).
During 2021, I saw Common Buzzard from my flat on 11 dates with those records involving 13 birds.
In addition, shortly after seeing the Common Buzzard, a single Mallard flew through rapidly in a westerly direction.
