Today the Government published its Autumn Statement. Whilst the Government remains fully committed to the UK’s climate change obligations, including a 68% reduction in our own CO2 emissions, it is still not on track to meet this target and its actions in other areas continue to undermine their promise.
The reconfirmation of the HS2 and Sizewell C major infrastructure projects, despite independent advice and huge opposition from local communities and conservation groups is of great concern.
