I see Herring Gulls almost daily flying over the area where I live and also occasionally Lesser Black-backed Gulls and Black-headed Gulls.
However, this morning, 2 birds actually landed for a few minutes on the rooftops of the houses opposite where I live enabling me to get some quick photos, albeit through my lounge window.
To start with a single bird arrived but initially turned his back! ....
.... but then a pose was on offer and his/her mate arrived ....
