Noak Bridge Nature Reserve

Noak Bridge Nature Reserve is a little further from my home with one of its entrances just under 1 mile away.

The site comprises an area of 20 acres consisting of open mixed grassland, scrub and thickets, young woodland, some more mature woodland and small ponds. It stretches along the north side of the A127 and to the south east of Noak Bridge.

The main entrance is at the south end of Eastfield Road in Noak Bridge but the easiest approach for me is from the south via a footpath from Pipps Hill and a footbridge over the A127.

I have only visited Noak Bridge Nature Reserve on a few occasions in the past and I am looking forward to visiting it more regularly and getting to know it better.

The Noak Bridge Nature Reserve Society has taken an active role in developing and maintaining the Reserve and its facilities. The Society also maintains an open discussion group on Facebook.

A full description of the site appears on the Noak Bridge Nature Reserve website.
