All the recent snow cover has melted and temperatures have increased over the last 2 to 3 days.
A hint of the coming spring has resumed after the brief step backwards with the Arctic blast.
I have had my lounge window open and heard a calling Green Woodpecker several times for the last 3 days. In addition, I have heard singing Robin, Dunnock, Great Tit and Blue Tit.
In addition, the pair of Magpies have recommenced the repair and rebuilding of their nest.
