Just after leaving my flat at 9:05 a.m., I heard the distinctive calls (raucous squawking) of Ring-necked Parakeets. I quickly spotted 2 birds flying southwards but extremely high up. However, they were easily identifiable by their shape and long tails.
I am beginning to record these exotic looking birds in my local area .... see here which also includes some photos taken in London.
