I saw my first Swallow of the year from my flat this morning, a single bird flying north at 8:40 a.m. I did see what I thought was also a Swallow 2 days ago but I was unable to confirm the identification.
Prior to this record, I had already seen Swallows at several locations following my first of the year at EWT Hanningfield Reservoir on 15th April 2023.
