The continuing wet summer resulted in another rainbow over SS15 today, the third since 20th July 2021.
The unsettled weather has also meant less in the way of visits to my local patch sites, not least since wet and windy weather makes macro photography of butterflies, dragonflies, damselflies and insects impossible.
"It rained, and it rained, and it rained. Pooh splashed to his door and looked out... 'This is serious,' he said. 'I must have an Escape.' So he took his largest pot of honey and escaped with it to a broad branch of his tree, well above the water." ~A.A.Milne #MondayMotivation pic.twitter.com/D2Wu5CGi2V

Unfortunately, unlike Pooh, I have not had an "escape" to a tree with a large pot of honey and I have been confined to home with a bottle of beer watching the race of the raindrops 😀.
These are my two drops of rain

Waiting on the window-pane.
I am waiting here to see
Which the winning one will be.
Both of them have different names.
One is John and one is James.
All the best and all the worst
Comes from which of them is first.
