After a series of sightings of 1 to 3 Common Buzzards from my flat earlier in the month (plus over my St. Nicholas Church and Gloucester Park local patch sites), I had not recorded any birds since 18th March 2022 .
Today’s sighting of a Common Buzzard was of a single bird flying through at 2:20 p.m. hotly pursued by 2 Carrion Crows.
I had my first Common Buzzard record from my flat for the year (a single bird) on 7th March 2022. This was followed by further sightings on 10th March 2022 (2 birds), 14th March 2022 (2 birds), 15th March 2022 (3 birds) and 18th March 2022 (2 birds)
During 2021, I saw Common Buzzard from my flat on 11 dates with those records involving 13 birds.
