I had another bird of prey record from my flat this afternoon at 2:15 p.m.
No, this time not another Common Buzzard seen from my front lounge window (although I haven't seen one since 18th March 2022) but a Sparrowhawk seen flying past my rear kitchen window.
From the very brief view that I had, I believe that it was a female based on size. Female Sparrowhawks are noticeably larger than males, as is the case with many birds of prey.
