More on avian bird flu

Our beautiful seabirds are struggling with populations of many species in decline.

Our oceans are warming and thereby reducing vital food sources to support sustainable breeding.

Our oceans are full of plastic causing death through inadvertent ingestion or entanglement.

Humanity is responsible for this due to our complete disregard for the other species that co-exist on our planet.

If these challenges for our seabirds aren't enough, they are now facing the devastating impact of avian flu with high and increasing levels of sickness and mortality being reported throughout the UK.

Humanity is responsible for this through our intensive management of animals and the demand for cheap supermarket poultry.

Nature is in crisis. Nature needs us and we need nature.

When are our Governments going to take the climate emergency and the biodiversity crisis seriously and move beyond meaningless soundbites to implementing meaningful action?
