After returning home from my morning visit to my St. Nicholas Church local patch site (see here), I was reviewing my photos on my PC when I heard a calling Common Buzzard at midday. Looking outside, I immediately saw 2 birds soaring together above the houses opposite the flats where I live.
By the time that I had picked up my camera, one of the birds had disappeared but I was able to get some photos of the remaining bird which continued to soar for several minutes before flying off rapidly in a southerly direction.
