I am a staunch republican who wishes to see the abolition of the monarchy and the establishment of a modern democracy with an elected head of state but even I had some sympathy for a frail 96 year old woman who had to meet those muppets Boris Johnson and Liz Truss this week.
One gone at long last but another forced upon us by just 80000 totally unrepresentative members of the Conservative Party.
Different face .... same old gaslighting, bullshit and lies.
What have the UK and its people done to possibly deserve these people?
Apart from the general incompetence, right-wing intolerance and bigotry, corruption and criminality, these people and their supporters offer nothing to address the climate emergency and biodiversity crisis other than greenwash platitudes.
We need a General Election now and the implementation of progressive and internationalist policies to address the acute needs of our nation and our world.
