The media is now obsessing about “the queue”, despite the fact that greater numbers of people have been seen in London for many other events over the years.
For a serious, balanced and thoughtful commentary on the “the queue”, see this article written by Stephen Reicher, Professor of Psychology at the University of St Andrews, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and an authority on crowd psychology ....
I’m an expert in crowd behaviour – don’t be fooled that everyone queueing in London is mourning the Queen | Stephen Reicher https://t.co/6NcxtBaVey

As independent research has consistently shown, the monarchy has never contributed huge sums to the UK economy through tourism despite all the claims from its supporters.
Maybe the UK Government could take advantage of “the queue” and build a permanent Mausoleum as a tourist attraction and create an annual revenue stream?
Or maybe they could sort out the real “queue” created by their Brexit fantasy of “taking back control”?
