I don't think I will be seeing any of these around any of my local patch sites!
Pygmy Possums are small marsupials. Four of the species are endemic to Australia with another species also co-occurring in Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. Pygmy possums range in length from about 2 to 4.5 inches and usually weigh between 0.35 and 1.75 ounces. They are nocturnal and omnivorous, living on a diet of invertebrates, fruit, seed, nectar and pollen.
