I am very happy to identify as retired (better described as financially independent with permanent leisure time in my case 😀) and British. Unfortunately there was no free text box to describe the joys of permanent leisure time which for me include travel (at least it used to), wildlife watching and photography.
However, despite the best efforts of this right-wing populist Government to create an isolated country stuck out in the Atlantic, I still identify as European.
If you were a "Remainer", don't give up just because Brexit has been "done". If you are a European, please say so.
Lastly, given that the Social Attitudes Survey shows 52% of people identifying as non-religious, it is also very important that this is reflected in the Census 2021.
If you are not religious, please say so.
I am an atheist, humanist and secularist and I ticked "no religion".
