But Puffins in the snow! .... albeit angry ones arguing over the best ski slope 😀
This photo was taken by Øyvind Pedersen on Hornøya island in the far north of Norway in April 2018.
I have taken hundreds of photos of Puffins in the UK, mainly at RSPB Bempton Cliffs in Yorkshire and SWT Handa in north west Scotland.
On 2nd July 2019, I visited the massive seabird colonies on Hornøya island for the first time as part of another lengthy trip to the far north of Finland and Norway. There were huge numbers of Puffins but not a flake of snow!
