From my lockdown window – 16th June 2020

Today was a slightly quieter day than recently although I did hear a calling Great Spotted Woodpecker at 6:20 a.m., a singing male Chiffchaff at 6:40 a.m. and a singing male Blackcap at 7:15 a.m., all very distantly.

I recorded the following species today (heard only records in italics):

Blackcap
Chiffchaff
Wren
Goldfinch
Great Spotted Woodpecker
Woodpigeon
Collared Dove
Magpie
Carrion Crow
Herring Gull
Lesser Black-backed Gull
