I have been a supporter and member of the Woodland Trust for several years now .... although not quite for 50 years!
The Woodland Trust is currently celebrating its 50th golden anniversary.
From humble beginnings around a Devon kitchen table in 1972, the Woodland Trust has since planted 55 million trees and restored 85,000 acres of damaged woodland and it now owns more than 1,000 woods across the UK and has over 300,000 members.
For 50 years we’ve been standing up for #woods and #trees. In that time, we’ve planted 55 million trees, restored 85,000 acres of damaged woodland, and now own more than 1,000 woods.
