The National Trust, RSPB and Wildlife Trusts have said that all options are on the table as they challenge the UK Government's policies and they could urge their combined 8 million members to take to the streets in demonstrations.
It is the first time the leaders of the 3 organisations have formed such a high-profile and outspoken coalition on an issue in this way.
This is very welcome and long overdue co-operation and co-ordination and I would like to see the many other organisations challenging the UK Government come together in such an alliance.
