There is currently a blatant, unprecedented and full-scale attack on nature by the new UK Government .... SS15 wildlife watching: Stop the attack on nature!
Conservation organisations and their millions of members and supporters are very concerned and very angry and over the coming months there will doubtless be increasing campaigning and direct action.
Chris Packham has just proposed a repeat of the Peoples Walk for Wildlife which occurred back in 2018.
The climate emergency and biodiversity crisis has significantly worsened in the 4 years since and the UK Government, and indeed all governments across the world, need to wake up, end “greenwashing” and implement meaningful actions to mitigate and resolve the threats to our planet, humanity and the species that we share our planet with.
The new UK Government is ripping up previous pledges to support the environment and wildlife, quite apart from refusing to take the positive and progressive action that is urgently required.
It's time to rise up against this dangerous #AttackOnNature . We need another Peoples Walk for Wildlife - can you help ? We need specialist expertise - please watch the video and if you can assist please email walk@chrispackham.co.uk . Thank you . pic.twitter.com/Nw32bXR6Ju
