Peoples Walk for Wildlife 2.0 update

There is currently a blatant, unprecedented and full-scale attack on nature by the new UK Government .... SS15 wildlife watching: Stop the attack on nature!

Conservation organisations and their millions of members and supporters are very concerned and very angry and over the coming months there will doubtless be increasing campaigning and direct action.

Chris Packham recently proposed a repeat of the Peoples Walk for Wildlife which occurred back in 2018.

SS15 wildlife watching: Peoples Walk for Wildlife 2.0

The climate emergency and biodiversity crisis has significantly worsened in the 4 years since and the UK Government, and indeed all governments across the world, need to wake up, end “greenwashing” and implement meaningful actions to mitigate and resolve the threats to our planet, humanity and the species that we share our planet with.

The new UK Government is ripping up previous pledges to support the environment and wildlife, quite apart from refusing to take the positive and progressive action that is urgently required.

Peoples Walk for Wildlife 2.0 has now been confirmed for Saturday 26th November 2022.

Well done to Chris Packham and everyone who has so quickly made this possible.

The National TrustRSPB and Wildlife Trusts have said that all options are on the table as they challenge the UK Government's policies and they could urge their combined 8 million members to take to the streets in demonstrations.

SS15 wildlife watching: Direct action not ruled out by conservation groups over UK Government environment policies

Let's get out there and show the UK Government that we are very concerned and very angry.

#DefendNature .... Please help save and enhance our laws that protect our environment and wildlife
