From my lockdown window – 1st May 2020

Today was a better day with a slightly longer species list.

I heard a male Blackcap singing briefly at 9:45 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and there were 2 fly-over Mallards at 9:45 a.m.

However, the highlight has to be the amazing double rainbow at around 5:00 p.m. which followed yet another heavy rain shower.

I recorded the following species today (heard only records in italics):

Blackcap
Blackbird
House Sparrow
Woodpigeon
Collared Dove
Magpie
Carrion Crow
Herring Gull
Mallard
