From my lockdown window – 6th May 2020

It was a rather short species list today.

I heard a male Blackcap singing briefly at 9:40 a.m.

I have seen individual flying Grey Herons from my flat on several occasions over the years and, after seeing my first during the lockdown period on 12th April 2020, I saw another one today flying north west at 6:55 p.m.

I recorded the following species today (heard only records in italics):

Blackcap
Blue Tit
Blackbird
Woodpigeon
Collared Dove
Magpie
Carrion Crow
Herring Gull
Lesser Black-backed Gull
Grey Heron
